has got it for us. hi lisa. good morning. >> hey bill. good morning everyone. lawmakers could finally get the answers they're demanding today in the investigation into former c.i.a. director david petraeus. the fbi and c.i.a. say they will brief members of the house and senate intelligence committees laying out how they handled the case and standing by their claim that politics were not involved in their decision to keep lawmakers in the dark. at least four people are now caught up in the investigation. along with petraeus and paula broadwell, there is jill kelley and top afghanistan commander john allen. the pentagon is now investigating general allen for allegedly sending thousands of inappropriate e-mails to kelley but allen is saying he did nothing wrong and the president and the army are standing by him. >> the president thinks very highly of general allen and his service to his country. as well as the job he has done in afghanistan. >> i believe john allen until somebody proves otherwise i believe that
